The night of the summer solstice there were these crazy clouds hovering over the lake. I sat out on the breakwater rocks of the cove and watched them slowly stretch and change from orange to deep pinks and purples before disappearing in the night sky.
My first week back in Tahoe has been a dream. Hikes along the river, beach days by the lake, trips to the Farmers Market, sunsets on the rocks. I've jumped into the freezing water almost every day and each time I come out with a big grin on my face and a surge of energy.
I start my summer school class on Monday, but until then I'm a free agent and you can find me outside.
